Gerald McKee – A Little About Myself
I started coming to the Bear Lake area about 1963 with my parents when I was 8 years old. My parents bought this cabin in 1965 and we were the summer weekenders. We enjoyed Bear Lake throughout my teenage years and in 1980 I moved to Florida do to a death in the family. I came back up here in 1990 and 1992 with my kids for vacation, Then I moved here permanently in January of 2000. I served six years on the Kalkaska K.A.I.R. board from 2001 through 2007. I was president the last year I served. I volunteered for K.A.I.R. one day a week driving their truck to pick up and deliver furniture and other goods. I served on the Bear Lake Christian Church board as Trustee, Head Trustee and then Treasurer for two years. I am currently the Chair Person for the Kalkaska Recycling Center and Chair for The Kalkaska Solid Waste Committee. I will do everything I can to support the people of Bear Lake Township as Trustee. I would very much appreciate your vote on November 11, 2016.
Have a great day,
