My family has enjoyed Bear Lake for over 40-years. While we are not lakefront property owners, we were sold the cottage with private lake access rights. The previous board went so far as to label these access points to preserve them for future generations. Now, the current Board has decided to close off 2-road endings in the middle of winter when no one was around? I guess I’m naïve to believe that people who run for office should have the best interest of all of their constituents. This is only the beginning of many more to come. A select few will gain additional lake front property (for free), while the rest of us are left with decreased property values and loss of lake access rights.
